There's nothing really authentic about it. The only reason it's two stars and not one is because the service was nice. Other than a welcoming attitude they didn't have much to offer, the toppings didn't add much flavor to the already flavorless and dry meat and the laffa (wrap) was embarrasingly thin and slightly burned, nothing like the real deal. I didn't know what to expect but I had hoped for something better.

Where to start it was flawless and clean and reasonably priced for the portions you receive I came by at open the staff was great would drive 45 mins to get it again

Wow!! The owners are such amazing people! They have a heart of gold and their food reflects it.. it takes unbelievably good. Such good quality and also huge portions’ When you order their chicken plate it is always enough food for lunch and dinner. This place is so good people drive up from Brampton.

We came to Orangeville for our drivers test, and tried this Shawarma place, it's definitely worth the try, we tried the Chicken Shawarma and the Chicken with rice box, the portions are big and they have variety of sauce options with different spice levels. It also has few tables incase if you want to sit and grab a quick bite. The place is clean and customer service is good. Definitely a thumbs up. Please like my review if you find it helpful.

Gigantic wraps with tons of yummy toppings. Owned by a very nice local family. This place sometimes has a bit of a line up but trust me it is worth the wait!

I have never had this amazing Mediterranean food ever. I Felt like i was in the middle east and eating the food there. Please try it if you want authentic Mediterranean food.

Inedible. Had a falafel wrap once and made the mistake to go back for a chicken shawarma. Terrible food. They try to drench it in sauce but the quality of the food is low and awful.

Disappointed Waited 7 mins for “fresh food”Bought a family meal and it was disgusting. The potatoes were hard/tasted raw. The vegetables were old and brown(stale). The rice chicken was significantly less than normal. And to top it all off I found a hair in my food. Will not be returning. Very unhappy

Awesome chicken souvlaki. The wrap was delicious! Samosa was full of flavor as well. Friendly, helpful staff. They let me sample the suicide sauce before putting it on my wrap. That's always helpful before running your wrap because you don't know what the sauce tastes like.Great food. Great staff. Welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and will be visiting this place again myself.

Love the food. But since the new owner, they don't serve eating in with proper plate and utensils anymore. Also didn't get hummus and pita bread for a Shawarma plate last time.

This place went down hill real fast. In the beginning, the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Last few weeks, something has changed.. I am confident the original owners have now sold the business and its under new management. My last two trips there, the food was STONE COLD, chicken was dry. The portions/prices have changed for individual servings (family special is still the same).I just cannot believe how the quality of food has just drastically declined so quickly.. Unfortunately, I won't be returning there anymore.

Rice was stale and chicken was dry. Sauces were not flavourful.

I've never had shawarma before and ended up going here for lunch today. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the chicken shawarma was really good. All around, the service, food, and pricing is great and I will definitely be returning in the future.

2 stars just because of the good old times, if it wasn't for that, it would be just 1.Portions got smaller, prices higher and quality deplorable. Beef and chicken are super dry served from a tray & not cut fresh anymore, potatoes are a mix of "fresh" undercooked batch, mixed with older dry leftovers and rice not seasoned as good as it used to be... on the good side, the pita bread was really good and fresh as always, but it doesn't go well with their new super fat and creamy hummus. Was a really nice place to eat, sadly, not anymore.Wish the 3 original guys were still there.

I don’t know if the owner sold their business to some else but normally I order family pack of chicken shawarma with extra pitas for $ 51.18 with tax but now when I go home I got less chicken. Because there would normally be more chicken I would always order more of the pita wrap, the portion sizes of the food is not the same and is not enough. I don’t recommend eating here or take out.

There’s a very big difference in the way the food was served portion wise and in freshness before these newer owners who have been there for about 2 years are serving. Food portions have been cut down tremendously and potatoes are being served stale.They barely give you potatoes, rice, and chicken. The potatoes and rice are the cheapest food supply to have on hand and serve customers as a side. What’s going on Mahdia Shawarma? When charging customers $14.50 to have a shawarma plate, you should be make it worth people’s money to eat there and serve fresh food. Being greedy and holding back on freshness and portion will affect your business in the long run. Good luck.

A little disappointed. The food was still good but since the new owners the portion sizes have decreased substantially. The amount of meat was cut almost in half. They didn't offer hummus, had to ask and they don't serve the plates with the two kind of rice anymore....... Bring back the old original owners.

I love the Shawarma here, but second time this month I’ve swung by and it’s closed when Google and the sign on the door says they’re open… I watched a few people drive up and leave while writing this.

Unreal place- visit all the time. Great bang for your buck, fresh food, healthy and the service is unreal! Highly recommend it
